Labor Day DUI Crackdown (Checkpoint Update)

There will be a major law enforcement crackdown on impaired drivers in Kettering, Ohio tonight from 9 pm to 3 am.   No sobriety checkpoints are scheduled, but extra patrols will be out looking for drunk drivers.  Tomorrow night there will be a sobriety checkpoint in Beavercreek, Greene County in front of the Greene.  Extra patrols are expected almost everywhere this holiday weekend, so please designate a sober driver.

If you plan to visit NE Ohio be aware of the following sobriety checkpoints scheduled for tonight.  Cleveland – Will be having a sobriety  check point tonight at 117th and Madison at 9 p.m.  North Royalton – Will be having one tonight at 9 p.m. It looks like it will be on 82, possibly around York Rd.  Parma – Will be having a check point on Ridge Road Saturday at 9 p.m.  Parma Heights – Will be having a check point on Pearl Road Saturday at 9 p.m.

Ohio State Highway Patrol DUI Labor Day Effort Announced

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced their plans for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend. The Patrol will focus on removing impaired drivers from our roadways and urging motorists to think twice before getting behind the wheel while impaired. Troopers will be out in full force in an effort to reduce fatalities over the long weekend.
